Apart from the musical aspects, the composer considers it very important to evoke images in the heads of the, largely, young musicians. In Firefighters, the fire brigade turns out in the depths of night. The siren can be heard, and the dramatic situation is further echoed in the tempo (Furioso) and a number of dissonances.
