Driving drum grooves, a straight rhythm, catchy melodies, and much space for the soloists\u2019 creativity \u2013 that\u2019s how you could describe Groovin\u2019 Around by Otto M. Schwarz. In the genre of film music, the composer\u2019s main field of activity, there are many styles to compose in and to adapt for various ensembles. Therefore, it is a matter close to his heart to compose music for wind band in a modern pop music style. Compositions by Otto M. Schwarz of this genre, such as Funk Attack, Band Fever, and many more, have been performed with great success all over the world and are becoming increasingly popular. During Groovin\u2019 Around, the audience will hardly be able to stay in their seats. This work offers the soloists the opportunity to improvise; written-out solos are also provided, so that all soloists have the chance to prove themselves in the spotlight.<\/p>\r\n\n\t\t\n\t\t<!--BEGIN .toggle -->\n\t\t<div class=\"toggle closed sc\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"trigger\">read on\u2026<span><i class=\"icon-chevron-down\"><\/i><\/span><\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"toggle-pane\"><div class=\"inner-pane\"><\/p>\r\n<p>Das Publikum wird auch bei Groovin\u2019Around nur schwer auf den St\u00fchlen zu halten sein. Das Werk bietet den Solisten die M\u00f6glichkeit zu improvisieren; ausgeschriebene Soli sind ebenfalls enthalten, so dass sich alle Solisten \u00fcberzeugend im Rampenlicht pr\u00e4sentieren k\u00f6nnen. Otto M.
