With this three-movement work for brass quintet we take a journey through time exploring the history of music. The first movement is devoted to the Renaissance, the second honours the Romantic era and the final movement is dedicated to our current era. The correct interpretation of the diverse musical styles represents a difficult but worthy challenge for the performers. The movements can also be performed on an individual basis: the first and third movements are especially suitable for more festive events whereas the second movement is more thoughtful and sensitive in nature.
